How to receive email alerts

You can be one of the first to see the new ads posted in the categories of your choice with our free email alert service. By signing up you’ll receive a daily email directly to your inbox which will alert you to any new ads posted in your chosen categories.

To do this simply:

1. Click the “email alerts” button on the left-hand side of the homepage

2. Enter your email address and name

3. Select the categories of interest

4. Choose whether you want to receive either HTML or text based messages. Please make sure that your email program supports HTML before you sign up for the HTML version

5. Click "submit"

You will then receive a daily email containing all ads posted in your selected categories on that day.

You can stop receiving the alerts just as easily at anytime by clicking the “remove alerts” button on the Gumtree homepage.

Please note that email alerts is an automated service, unfortunately we can't tailor it according to individual requirements.

Is there any way I can receive ads from Gumtree via email?

You can subscribe to specific categories on Gumtree by clicking the “email alerts” button on the left-hand side of the Gumtree homepage. Then simply enter your email address and the categories of interest, click "submit" and we will then automatically send you a daily email containing all ads posted in that category on that day.

You can stop receiving these daily email alerts just as easily by clicking the “remove alerts” button on the Gumtree hompeage and following the instructions. back to top

Simply click the “remove alerts” button on the left-hand side of the Gumtree homepage and enter your email address. You will then stop receiving all of the email alerts that you had signed up to.
