Hi there, my name is Gavin and I am a 23 year old postgraduate. I have just finished a course in History and English Literature at York, where I still live, but only for the time being.

I am tall, very tall, so tall that I can be classed as a giant. I have dark hair and green eyes. I'm never going to win any prizes for looks but I don't belong in a bell tower either lol.

I'm easy going with a variety of interests. I love reading and I have amassed quite a collection of books. I am currently in the middle of writing my own novel, which I hope to get published (if I ever finish it lol). I also love music, especially rock music. I can think of no better way to spend an evening, either at the Metro Arena or at a smaller gig, watching a really good band. Movies are another passion of mine and I have seen umpteen movies, certainly too many to mention here. When I can, I love to cook for people and in my time away at uni I have become quite a good cook.

What am I looking for? Is perfection too big a question to ask? I'm looking for someone who shares similar interests, someone who I can have a conversation with, someone to share walks through the counryside, walks along the beach, someone to hold my hand when they don't feel safe.
