Facilities Manager who specialises in soft services is required for a temporary contract.
As the facilities manager of soft services which includes: catering, cleaning and caretaking you will report into a Senior manager on the progress of each service.
You will attend and answer any issues raised at meetings with the building users.
This facilities manager position focuses more on the operational side of facilities rather than the client side.
You will be responsible for managing 40-50 staff so hands on experience is essential.
The Facilities Manager will also be involved with:
- project management and supervising and coordinating work of contractors;
- investigating availability and suitability of options for new purchases;
- calculating and comparing costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money;
- planning for future development in line with strategic business objectives You will be directing and planning essential central services
You will pride yourself on helping to deliver a high quality service to the public sector by ensuring all services are being delivered in an effective and efficient manner.
Immediate contract
37- 40 hours a week
Previous facilities experience in soft services
Man Management experience of catering, cleaning and caretaking staff.
