Background
Based within the Customer Service and Sales Risk and Compliance Department, the Customer Service and Sales department will be responsible for embedding operational and regulatory risk management throughout Customer Service and Sales. In addition, through effective identification of operational and regulatory risks, assist Customer Service and Sales to design and implement appropriate controls.
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
Working within the Customer Service and Sales Compliance and Risk department reporting to the Assistant Director of Measurement. You will be responsible for a small team, who will undertake the following:
Responsible for delivery and maintenance of a competent team of review specialists
Responsible for delivery of Risk and Compliance review plan(s)
Responsible for delivery of accurate, timely and insightful management information to enhance achievement of Customer Service and Sales objectives
In conjunction with business, Advice and guidance, Measurement Design, design and implement appropriate methodologies to meet Risk and Compliance Review plan(s)
Responsible for resource planning within the review team to deliver training and competence and risk and compliance plan(s)
Skills:
Excellent communication and presentation skills, to be able to inform and persuade both orally and in writing
Persistence, analytical, an eye for detail, an ability to complete projects on time, tackling issues and meeting deadlines
Self motivated with a general curiosity and broad understanding of the world and an interest in business affairs and human behaviours, to be able to understand where risk might come from and learn from how others have dealt with it
A detailed knowledge of service and sales operations and the regulatory, physical and economic environment in which sales operates
Decision making
Ability to empathise with the business whilst remaining objective, together with good interpersonal skills
Management and development of a team of people
Previous experience within an Audit background is preferable
