babysitter or au-pair required for young baby in Newcastle

Young family with one month old baby girl is looking for a nanny or au-pair to start in January-February 2010 (baby will be three-four months old). We are a relaxed family from a mixed background (mother Italian, father Scottish). We can provide single room accomodation if required.

Must have some experience with young babies and will require references. Driving is not required as we live nearby the city centre, very close to bus transport and local park (Spittal Tongue).

Being an Italian speaker would be an davantage as we would like to teach Italian to our child.

As we are both doctors working shifts, at the end of maternity leave (March 2010) some flexibility may be required including occasional nights or weekend. Some babysitting work for occasional nights out etc may be available starting from mid November
