An opportunity exists for an experienced pastry chef to join the team at a quality hotel in the Alnwick area of Northumberland.
The ideal candidate will have previous 3, 4 or 5 star hotel experience, gastro pub experience or have worked within quality Michelin or AA Rosette restaurants. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for assisting in maintaining high levels of hygiene and health and safety. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for junior staff development and ensuring high levels of food standards are achieved. The Pastry Chef will be reporting directly into the Head Chef. The candidate must be passionate and have the ability to cope under pressure.
Knowledge of modern plated desserts is essential as is the ability to be creative and work on own initiative. The hotel is part of a small group and development and promotion opportunities exist within the company.
In return there is a competitive package available;
·£15,000 to £16, 500 per annum salary
