We're currently working closely with an established Retail Banking organisation to recruit for several Assistant Branch Managers throughout the North East Area. If you have retail banking experience, are CeMap qualified and are familiar with branch procedures, compliance and processes, please read on.

The role will involve:

· Working closely with the Branch Manager to run the day-to-day branch operations
· Work a dual role - selling to customers whilst at the same time managing the audit procedures of the branch
· Ensuring the branch gives the best customer service experience on the high street.
· Being partly responsible for the management of the branch team and give them the direction and coaching they need to drive sales whilst meeting all other regulatory and financial security requirements
· Lead the team to perform at the highest of standards, suggesting ways of improving branch performance
· Oversee the appearance of the branch

Ultimately you will combine your experience of assisting to manage a customer-facing financial services team with a detailed understanding of branch control procedures and financial security.

You will also use your selling ability to drive mortgage sales.
