Are you working in the travel industry? Are you looking to manage a large team in the travel industry? Branch Manager working in a large busy Travel branch in Newcastle.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
My client is a leading player in the retail travel market they are currently looking for an experienced Retail Travel Branch Manager to work within their busy travel superstore based in Newcastle.

You will be given the opportunity to maximise the potential of this store capitalising on this branch's affluent location.
Leading by example you will excel in providing first class customer service thus demonstrating effective sales management.

Key responsibilities for this Branch Managers position
* To plan and execute in-house promotions company campaigns incentives and promotional materials
* To set targets in accordance to staffing levels, seasons and trends whilst suggesting ideas and solutions to improve revenue and profit.
* Conduct team meeting and training sessions demonstrating assertive communications ensuring that the adherence of Company policies procedures and standards are meet at all times within your Branch
* To lead, motivate and energise your team identifying training and development needs along with recognising your individual staff's potential.
* To keep your product and brand knowledge up to date whilst having in-depth knowledge of the company's brochures and destinations and preferred suppliers
* Produce written reports for senior management and the Regional Sales team through the analysis of commercial performance
* Deal with complaints in a calm and diplomatic manner and be able to deal with a wide range of both internal and external customer issues

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The successful candidate should have strong leadership skills, commercial awareness and the ability to inspire a team. At all levels you'll need a passion for customer service and a strong tract record in sales. Previous retail travel branch managerial/assistant branch managerial experience required.

THE PACKAGE:
In return for your hard work you will be offered a basic salary between £22k -£27K plus bonus and benefits such as discounted travel and pension scheme.
