Female looking for running partner(s) to help her get fit

Hi
I'm 29, work full time and am sick of feeling unfit. I would like to do something about it before Christmas when it all goes out of the window!

Wondering if anyone would fancy going running once or twice a week in the evenings or at weekends around Newcastle or Gateshead. I can't run far at the moment but it'd be great if I could sort this out. It'd be good to find someone else who is also a beginner or someone who is a good motivator.
