About the role
Due to expansion and success, we now have an immediate requirement for an experienced Project Manager to join our ever-growing team.
Successful candidates will able to demonstrate excellent communication skills as well as having the commercial experience of delivering complex and client-specific projects on time and to budget. Ideally, you will need to be able to demonstrate experience in the field of Web application and software development.
Main duties
Reporting to the Project Director your day-to-day duties will include working closely with the project teams, account management and clients in the planning and delivery of a range of high-profile projects.
Skills and experience
You will need:
* excellent team-working skills and leadership qualities
* the experience of working in a client-facing role
* a "can do" attitude with the ability to work to tight deadlines, successfully delivering on time and to budget
* the proven ability of leading/managing the full project lifecycle including; project planning, cost estimation and tracking, resource planning, risk and quality management
* the ability to extract information from various management systems and to effectively communicate this to internal stakeholders
* the experience of using a range of project management tools including Project Server 2007 and Sharepoint 2007
Ideally you will have:
* knowledge and experience of Prince2 project management methodology (Practitioner level preferred)
* experience in managing agile software development projects (both creative and technical)
