Job Description
Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager will have total responsibility for the day to day operational management of the unit and will be involved in forecasting, budgeting and business planning for the future. You will be taking full responsibility for all Food and Beverage Operations in the hotel as well as Front of House activities. You will need to be standards focused in order to ensure all staff members are trained in accordance with company guidelines and have a hands on management style. You will report directly to the General Manager and lead a team of approximately 90 team members. This property is a key wedding venue in the area and is popular with leisure guests.
Required Experience
Candidates should:-
* Have experienced working in quality establishments
* Have had experience in both Food and Beverage and Front Office
* Be an excellent people manager
* Be a hands on operator
* Be standards driven
* Be able to deliver on commitments
Salary and Benefits
The starting salary for this role is £35,000. Bonuses can be achieved on an annual basis dependent on meeting key objectives. The position also includes a pension scheme and free Health Club Membership.
