German with French English Speakers for Payroll 3months contract
German /French & Swiss Payroll Service Owner 3month Contract £9.60per hour
As a member of a country payroll team within the EMEA Service Centre, the prime responsibility of the payroll administrator is for the accurate and timely payment of employee salaries. However, the expectation is that the incumbent will also really embrace the desire
to review and change business processes to make payroll services more
efficient and effective.
The role therefore comprises:-
• Ensuring employee master data is correct
• Ensuring all payments and deductions are correct and in line with company policy and country tax legislation
• Owning specific work processes, being the payroll expert in these, and continually assessing to ensure maximum efficiency, and re-engineering if necessary
• Participate in / lead a wide variety of projects that impact payroll
• Continually strive to deliver excellence in Customer Service
• Maintain accurate controls.
Each country payroll is split into various payroll areas (pay groups) and each administrator will have responsibility for a specific group of employees within a pay group.
All administrators are expected to be skilled in all aspects of their country payroll, enabling them to be able to cover any role. They will also be expected to attain a high level of technical proficiency in the use of SAP payroll, and understand the linkages with other areas of SAP notably Data Management
Mandatory Skills/Experience
Establishing & maintaining payroll records:
• New hires / leavers / transfers
• Validation of all payments and deductions:
• Ensure knowledge of P&G policies and external taxation regulations
ensuring all payments are duly authorised, correct, and technically compliant.
Includes:-
• Tax / Social Security / Fiscal Deductions / Share plans /Allowances / Health Care Plans / Stock Options
• Ensuring all outside agencies have the correct detail to support payments. Liaise with the agency to ensure robust processes are in place.
• Correct net payments at all times:
• Validate net pay using controls, simulations and exception reports.
• Target 100% correct pay checks.
Payroll Accounting (where appropriate):
• Ensuring payroll results are correctly recorded within P&G’s financial accounting records.
• Carry out monthly balance sheet reconciliations for accounts for which responsible.
Internal Controls:
• Have good working knowledge of all Internal Control requirements and ensure that all areas of payroll within own area of responsibility have acceptable levels of control.
SAP Payroll:
• Acquire technical mastery on SAP payroll, with the ability to identify and offer solutions for basic issues / problems, and to run ad-hoc reports as and when required.
• Be sufficiently knowledgeable to test and validate legal change patches (LCP’s) and any other business process changes.
Process Owner:
• Responsibility of being expert in one or more payroll processes, owning and updating documentation, communicating changes to other payroll team members, continually looking to improve work processes.
• Implementing Daily Management Systems (DMS) to ensure the processes are working effectively at all times

Training will be provided on policies, processes and systems used to deliver the end-to-end service. It typically takes 6 months of on-the-job training to become self-sufficient in the role and handling a personal case load.
