Good User knowledge of Sage Line 50
Understanding of accounts procedures
Working knowledge of tax requirements and liabilities
User knowledge of basis computer software (outlook - excel - word - browser)
Tasks:
Posting supplier invoices to purchase ledger
Producing aged debt analysis for Suppliers
Preperation of Payment run for suppliers
Posting payments made to suppliers
Accurate use of nominal codes for purchase analysis reports
Creating new supplier accounts
Updating supplier accounts with any changes
Maintaining records of payment schedules
Posting regular payments to purchase ledger
Reconciliation of supplier statements to accounts, and resolving any differences with supplier
Creating customer invoices
Posting invoices to sales ledger
Producing aged debt analysis for Customers
Preperation of Customer statements and distribution to clients
Credit control follow up to ensure payments are being made on time
Posting payments received to client accounts
Accurate use of nominal codes for sales analysis reports
Creating new customer accounts
Updating customer accounts with any changes
Answering queries on accounts from customers either resolving or forwadrding on to Account Manager
Maintaining record of petty cash transactions
Posting expense account payments
Posting Bank Payments for miscellaneous expenditure
Posting Revenue payments and Salary payments
Posting journals to sage where and when required
Bank reconciliations
Credit Card reconciliations
End of Month cash flow predictions
End of Month sales analysis
Profit & Loss reporting
VAT Returns and updates to Sage
Preparation for Year End
