The map to the right is wrong, we definitely live on Sidney Grove!

Our house has 5 bedrooms, and there will be several rooms available from 31st June, for a 12 month contract. The rooms may be available mid June depending on when the current tenants move out. The rooms do vary in shape and size quite a bit but the landlord offers the same low monthly rent of £164.50 per room.

It is likely that the available rooms will be singles, although we won’t know for definite until mid June. We are English young professionals aged between 23 and 25.

There is an initial deposit to the landlord, but this is only £100. We deal directly with him so there’s no agency fees to pay. The landlord is very helpful.

Bills are not included in the rent, but it is furnished. The property is in good condition and nicely furnished, but it would be wrong to say it looks as good as an Ikea showroom!

We don’t have a landline, but we do have Virgin Media and Wireless broadband (or you can still use wires if you don’t have a wireless adaptor).

The scenic tree-lined street that we live on is very quiet, and is close to regular bus services into town. It’s also within walking distance of town, and depending on where you need to be, this can take anything between 20 and 30 minutes. There is also a park at the bottom of the street with tennis courts that are free to use. There are plenty of shops just a short walk away including an excellent fruit & veg shop called Hutchinsons, Off License, Newsagents, Post Office, Iceland, Netto, Gregg’s bargain bakery, a pound shop, barber-shop and many more. There are also various takeaways and good quality Indian restaurants. There is even a bowling alley at the top of the street! If you have a car, there is plenty of on street parking available.

Males or females welcome, must be friendly, clean + tidy, non-smokers. Ideally looking for young professionals rather than students. Also, no couples. Some of our interests include football, drinking including real ale, playing tennis, going for days out, music, barbecues, pub quizzes. We’re looking for someone who would like to socialise with us, as well as just living with us.
