Recruitment Consultant Needed for Maternity cover

Recruitment Consultant – 6-12months contract
Salary from £17,000 - £21,400 + Monthly & Quarterly OTE
Newcastle

We are looking to recruit a trainee or recruitment consultant to cover a 6 – 12 month maternity contact position (possibly going permanent), in our Newcastle office. The ideal candidate will come from a strong sales background and will be driven by exceeding targets.

Working in an office of 14 people, you will be reporting to the Section Manager working within the Health & Social Care sector. You will be recruiting for adult & childcare Residential staff within the Tyneside and Northumberland areas.

Responsibilities:

• Winning new business and managing key accounts
• Understanding clients & candidates requirements and maximising these opportunities
• Attending recruitment exhibitions & business events to expand your network
• Designing advertisements to attract job seekers

Skills and Personal specification:

• Proven sales ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Posses strong time management and organisation skills
• Ability to deliver against tight deadlines
• High self-motivation and ability to work well as part of a team
• An understanding of the recruitment industry is not essential, but desirable
• The desire and drive to succeed.
